Frequently Asked Questions

Are these real builds, or stock photos?

Every setup in the gallery is a real customer vehicle built in-house at a Canada Custom Autoworks shop, then photographed after the work was finished. Nothing here is a render, a manufacturer stock image, or a setup we haven’t actually installed ourselves.

Are the wheel, tire, and fitment specs accurate?

Yes — and we verify them two ways. Every spec is pulled from our internal build records and physically confirmed by the technician who did the install. Wheel diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, hub bore, tire size, ride height, rubbing, and trimming are all checked against the actual vehicle — not crowd-sourced from user submissions.

What do “rubbing” and “trimming” mean on a build page?

These two fields tell you how clean the fitment is:

  • Rubbing — whether the tire contacts anything during normal driving, at full steering lock, or under suspension flex. “Full Clearance No Rubbing” means a clean bolt-on.
  • Trimming — whether any bodywork, liner, or mud-flap modification was needed. “None” means nothing was cut or removed.
How do I read the wheel specs (offset, width, bolt pattern)?
  • Diameter × Width (e.g. 18×9) — the wheel size in inches.
  • Offset (e.g. +12 or −18 mm) — how far the wheel sits in or out. Lower or negative offset pushes the wheel outward for a wider, more aggressive stance.
  • Bolt pattern (e.g. 6×139.7) — the number of lugs and the circle they sit on. This must match your vehicle.
  • Hub bore — the center hole size; hub-centric rings are used when needed.
Will this exact setup fit my vehicle?

If your year, make, model, trim, and drivetrain match the build shown, it’s usually a direct fit. But factory ride height, suspension packages, and options can vary even within the same model, so we confirm fitment for your specific vehicle before you buy — backed by our Fitment Guarantee.

Can I buy the exact setup shown?

Yes. Each build page lists the wheels and tires in that package with pricing — add them to your cart or request a quote right from the page. Want the same look in a different size, finish, or tire? We can match it to your vehicle and budget.

Do you install, or is this online only?

We’re not a mail-order-only operation. Canada Custom Autoworks has 14 brick-and-mortar locations across Western Canada — Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. Mounting, balancing, TPMS, alignments, and lift & level work are all done in-house by our own technicians — the same people who verify the builds in this gallery.

What about warranty and service after I buy?

Because we have physical stores, warranty and after-sale service are handled in person at a local shop — not by shipping parts back and forth. Stop into the store nearest you and a technician can take care of it directly.

Can you do lifts, levels, and lowering too?

Absolutely — suspension is part of a lot of these builds. Each page lists the suspension setup (stock, level, lift, or lowered) so you can see exactly what it took to achieve the stance. Ask us to spec a package around the look you want.

I’m not near a store — can you still help?

Yes. We ship across Canada and can walk you through fitment by phone or online before anything goes out, so you’re ordering the right setup the first time. If you’re close to one of our 14 locations, you also get hands-on install and local warranty support.

How do I start my own build?

Find a build you like, then use the package details on that page to shop the exact setup, or request a quote and we’ll tailor it to your vehicle. Prefer to talk it through? Visit any Canada Custom Autoworks location and our team will build a package with you.
